In 2019, the Best Use of Technology was won by Zaha Hadid Virtual Reality Group for Project Correl, a collaborative experiment in multi-presence virtual reality (VR). Powered by Unreal Engine, Project Correl shows the possibilities of emerging immersive technology in architecture.

The 2020 Archiboo Awards will open for entries in May 2020.
Each category has its own judging panel responsible for selecting the winners and providing feedback on each finalist. The shortlisted entries are scored against a variety of criteria, dependent on the category, ensuring that the winner excels in each area.
The awards ceremony will take place in October 2020.
We have always held the awards in an architecturally significant building. In 2016 they were hosted in the Gasholders, King’s Cross, in 2017 in the newly opened White Collar Factory, Shoreditch, in 2018 at the Smithson Plaza, St James’s and in 2019 at the Royal College of Pathologists, Aldgate.
