How to Enter

Entries to the 2020 Archiboo Awards are now closed. We will announce the shortlist towards the end of September. 


Step 1: Choose a category – Visit the category overview page and choose a category/categories you would like to enter. Here you will see the criteria, entry questions and judges. You will then need to register or log in to complete your entry.

Step 2: Register or Log in – If you are already logged in, skip to Step 3. If not, then use the registration or login buttons to create or access your account.

Step 3: Start your entry – Once logged in, the entry form on the category page will be available. Fill in your details and click ‘Save your entry’. Don’t worry, you can continue to edit your entry later from the ‘View entries‘ page.

Step 4: Submit your entry – To finalise and submit your entry, click the ‘Submit your entry’ button on the ‘View entries‘ page. You will then be guided through the submission and, if relevant, to the payment portal.

That’s it! The shortlist will be announced in September 2020, and all entrants will be informed. Further details may be requested if you are shortlisted.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a cost to enter?
The categories are either £70 or £50 or free. Please refer to the category you wish to enter.

What are the key dates for the awards?

Can I view the questions I will need to answer?
Yes, you can view these on the category pages – even if you are not registered/logged in.

Can I enter if my practice/consultancy is not based in the UK?
Yes, the awards are open to international entries. In the past we have had shortlistees from Turkey, Spain, the USA and beyond. Please do note, however, that the awards ceremony is held in the UK.

Can I enter if I am not an architect?
Yes. There are a number of categories that are open to non-architects. If you are a designer entering a website on behalf of an architect please include the name of the practice on your entry.

Can I enter Best Overall without entering any of the other categories?
No. To enter Best Overall you have to enter two or more categories.

If I am submitting for Best Visual Design or Best User Experience does the website need to be live?
Ideally yes. But if the website is about to be launched you can still enter if you can provide a live/working link.

Does the website need to be from 2019/20?
No but please include the date on your entry.

What format should attachments be?
For categories where this is relevant we specify how we want files to be submitted.

Will I be notified if I am shortlisted?
Yes. All entrants will be notified when the shortlist is announced.

What happens after I submit?
All submitted entries will be stored until the deadline has passed. After the deadline they will be reviewed by a panel and then the shortlistees will be selected.
